<h2>Would you like to see more common sense,&nbsp;qualified Democrats elected in Johnson County? We need your help!</h2>Our Data Analysis consistently shows us that knocking on doors of our DEMOCRATIC neighbors (CANVASSING) is the best tool that we have to increase voter turnout. As a party, we provide comprehensive Canvass Training to new volunteers to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to share election information with our DEMOCRATIC neighbors.&nbsp;While this is our biggest need, we do have some non-Canvassing duties available to new volunteers as well. Some of those include Canvass Facilitating tasks like being a Canvassing Buddy (driving or walking with a Canvasser), Literature Preparation (counting out and bundling county party and candidate information), working in the office and other miscellaneous non-Canvassing duties like phone-banking and letter writing.We are currently recruiting Democratic candidates to run for local offices across Johnson County. We also provide comprehensive training and guidance to our candidates from the beginning of the election cycle through election day. If you have interest in learning more about becoming a candidate, someone from our leadership team will contact you to discuss in more detail. There is also a need across the county for people to host Meet and Greets/Fundraisers for our Democratic candidates.Thank you for your interest in volunteering with our vibrant Johnson County Democrats community!
